MSC's very own classic cruise ship, the Virtuosa, came to visit Cork this week and docked up in Cobh harbour. What an exciting time for us here in the office to go along for a lovely visit and guided tour of this impressive ship!
The ship will WOW you from the first glimpse, it truly is just magnificent and absolutely huge! The size alone would make you question its ability to float, a sailing city across the ocean. This new cruise ship, along with her sister ship MSC Grandiosa, is one of the two largest in the MSC fleet. Classed as one of the company's Smart Ships, Virtuosa is equipped with the latest technology available to streamline your experience, and just you wait until you meet Rob!
One of this ship's most iconic characters you absolutely have to meet during your stay is Rob the cocktail-making, robot Bartender! With a vast selection of available ingredients, choose from classics to your own custom-made personal cocktail! This is also a great feature for the kids to mess-around with as there are non-alcoholic options allowing them to create their own juice combinations!

The accommodation options aboard the Virtuosa cruise ship exude luxury and comfort. Choose from a wide range of cabins and suites either interior or why not opt for a beautiful balcony view. As part of our ship visit, we were treated to a gorgeous 3 course lunch menu that did not disappoint! This fine-dining area was spectacular with beautifully presented dishes. Don't forget to try out the mozzarella, the crew make their own fresh mozzarella on-board, and it is no to miss!
Shows & Entertainment
The entertainment available to guests on the Virtuosa is just incredible. With the all-new entertainment concept blending acrobats, dance, and live music to create exclusive original productions designed specifically for this ship experience. With 12 shows per week, alternating each day, you will not be left wanting!
A bowling alley, basketball court, casino, bars, 5 pools, private Yacht Club areas, Kid's Club areas, with care available for infants under 6months, there really is something for everyone aboard the MSC Virtuosa!
